Structural components of dryer equipment

Dryer equipment It is a common equipment for dehydration of various industrial materials. Whether the function of dryer can be fully played depends on the technological level of the manufacturer. It is the only way for further development of drying machine to study the basic links of dryer manufacturing. The dryer is mainly composed of eight parts: cylinder part, internal lifting device, tyre, supporting device, structure of supporting wheel and bearing, discharging cover, sealing device and transmission device. Each link in the overall operation of their own responsibility, is an important prerequisite for the performance of the common equipment.

1. Cylinder part

The cylinder part includes the cylinder and the internal device. The cylinder is a horizontal rotary cylinder, which is made of 10 mm thick boiler steel plate 20g. The diameter of the cylinder is 1.5m and the length L is 7m.

The feeding end of the cylinder body is provided with a material retaining ring and a material guide plate to prevent the material from dumping. In order to protect the cylinder body, a heat-resistant mouth guard plate can be installed at the hot end of the cylinder body.

2. Internal lifting device

The utility model has the advantages of speeding up the speed of the material in the body and increasing the moving area of the material in the drying cylinder. When the cylinder rotates, the material is carried to a high place by the lifting type lifting plate, and the material is continuously sprinkled, which makes the material in a dispersed waterfall shape in the air and has good contact with the high temperature flue gas flow for heat exchange. There are four kinds of lifting plates in the cylinder body, which are evenly distributed and parallel arranged along the circumference of the cylinder body.

3. Tire

The tire is made of cast steel turning, and the looper is installed on the outer ring of the cylinder through the parts such as backing plate and stop block Rotary kiln similar. The cylinder has two front and rear wheels, which transfer the weight of the cylinder and materials to the supporting device of the supporting wheel. The cylinder of dryer should move axially when it is driven. The dryer used in production adopts the structure of blocking wheel to restrain the movement. There is a transmission groove on the wheel belt. When driving, the supporting wheel is supported in the groove of the wheel belt, and the axial transmission of the cylinder is prevented.

4. Supporting device

The supporting device of the rotary drum dryer is a system of stop wheel and supporting wheel.

Supporting device of supporting roller

The supporting device of supporting wheel consists of two supporting wheels, four bearings and a large base. Its function is to support the wheel belt, make the cylinder rotate and play the role of radial positioning. The supporting wheel is made of cast steel, and its structure and arrangement are similar to those of rotary kiln. The supporting wheel device bears the weight of the whole rotating part and transmits the motion at the same time. In order to ensure the stable operation of the cylinder, it is designed to have four supporting wheels in total, and the included angle of each supporting wheel is 60 degrees.

Block wheel device

Generally, one is installed on both sides of the tire near the discharge end, and its axis is vertical to the cylinder body. The rotation of a side stop wheel is a sign of upward or downward movement of the cylinder body. In operation, it should be avoided to make the upper or lower stop wheel rotate continuously for a long time. The structure of the stop wheel is the same as that of the ordinary kiln.

5. Structure of supporting roller and bearing

According to the bearings used, the supporting wheel device can be divided into sliding bearing supporting wheel group and rolling bearing supporting wheel group, and the rolling bearing supporting wheel group can be divided into rotating shaft type and spindle type. There are also roller bearings. The roller group has the advantages of simple structure, convenient maintenance, low friction resistance, low power consumption and simple manufacturing. Rolling bearings are used when the bearing capacity of each supporting wheel is less than 100 tons in the standard of supporting wheel and stop wheel. Only when the load is heavy, the size of rolling bearing required is large, and sliding bearing is used due to the limitation of supply conditions. Generally, rolling bearings are used in dryers.

The left and right bearings of the supporting wheel group can be separated or integrated. The whole bearing block is easy to adjust the supporting roller, and the concentricity of the left and right bearing seat holes can be ensured by machining. Therefore, the self-aligning spherical bush is cancelled or the self-aligning thrust bearing is omitted. The larger supporting wheel group generally adopts the structure of separate left and right bearing seats, and is equipped with spherical tile, so that the left and right bearings always keep the same axis during installation and adjustment.

6. Discharge cover

According to the different direction and position of the material, the unloading method can be divided into axial unloading, radial unloading and central unloading.

(1) Axial unloading method

The simple method is to make the material flow out automatically at the low end of the drum. If you want to keep the material with a certain thickness in the cylinder, you can install an annular retaining ring at the end of the drum. The cone end can also be made.

(2) Radial unloading method

Holes are arranged on the cylinder body at the discharge end, and the material is discharged from these holes. For example, the cylinder screen and the heat exchange cooling cylinder of cement clinker are discharged with this valve.

(3) Central unloading method

At this time, 3-4 ladles are installed at the discharge end of the rotary drum. After the materials are picked up, they are poured into the discharge pipe in the center of the drum and discharged.

7. Sealing device

Location and requirements of sealing device

Generally, the rotary cylinder is operated under negative pressure. There is no gap between the rotary cylinder and its parts and the fixed device. In order to prevent the external air from being sucked into the cylinder or prevent the air carrying materials in the cylinder from leaking out to pollute the environment, sealing devices must be set in some parts.

Basic requirements for sealing device

(1) Good sealing performance;

(2) It can adapt to the shape error of the cylinder (ovality, eccentricity, etc.) and the reciprocating movement along the axial direction in operation;

(3) It is easy to maintain and repair;

(4) The structure should be as simple as possible.

Seal structure: labyrinth type, axial contact type, radial contact type, positive pressure seal type.

8. Transmission device

The rotating speed of rotary cylinder equipment is slow, generally in 2-6 R / min. Therefore, it is necessary to decelerate when the motor transmits the torque to the rotor. The speed of deceleration is relatively large. After the motor is driven by the small gear on the output shaft of the reducer, it is transmitted to the large gear installed on the cylinder body to make the cylinder rotate. With the increase of the cylinder, the transmission power is also increasing. Because it is difficult to design and manufacture high-power and high speed ratio reducer, double drive is used for larger cylinder. When the DC motor is used to drive, the synchronization of the motors on both sides of the double drive is completely possible. The main basis to determine whether single drive or double drive is motor power. At present, motors with power below 150KW are all single drive, those above 250KW are generally double drive, and 150-250kw depends on specific conditions.
