Working principle and structural features

The rotary dryer changes the single cylinder of the traditional dryer into two or three cylinders, which shortens the external dimension of the cylinder. When the machine is in use, the material and hot gas flow into the inner and outer cylinder in turn, and then discharged after circulating in the dryer, so as to make full use of the heat energy to dry the materials.

1. The axis of dryer cylinder is placed horizontally. The cylinder part is composed of two overlapped and coaxial inner and outer cylinders. The inner cylinder is a cone tube, and the outer cylinder is a straight tube, which makes full use of the cross-section of the cylinder. The total length of the external shape of the cylinder is about 50-60% of the original traditional type, so as to reduce the floor area and the building area of the factory buildings to a certain extent.

2. The supporting device of rotary dryer is also a highlight. In the high temperature end, the looper is used to support the wheel and supporting wheel on the inner cylinder. Due to the small diameter of the inner simple, the device is compact and heat-resistant. At the low-temperature end, a rolling bearing is used to support the central transmission shaft, and the central transmission mode is adopted, which eliminates the traditional large and small gears and makes the overall structure compact.

3. When the dryer works, the material and hot gas flow enter from the small end of the inner cone, and under the action of the lifting plate, the material is lifted up to fully exchange heat with the hot gas flow, and at the same time, the material moves axially to the large end of the inner cone. After entering the outer cylinder, the materials are lifted up by the material plates of different shapes and evenly scattered on the guide discharge plate at the outer wall of the inner cone cylinder. With the cylinder rotating slowly, there is a long residence time in the space. The outer cone wall of the inner cylinder flows slowly to the outlet end of the outer cylinder, and is discharged through the flap valve. The waste gas is collected and discharged by the cyclone dust collector at the upper part of the discharge device. When the moisture content of the material is large (≥ 15), several rows of straight plate lifting plates can be arranged at the feeding end of the inner cylinder.

In the practical application of rotary dryer, the output is large, the thermal efficiency is high, and the evaporation intensity is strong, which far exceeds the design capacity.
