1. Reduce heat carried away by exhaust gas

The temperature of the exhaust gas out of the dryer must ensure that the waste gas passes through the dust collector and exhaust fan until it is discharged into the atmosphere, and the water vapor will not condense out. But the exhaust gas temperature should not be too high, otherwise the heat consumption will increase. The temperature of the exhaust gas from the dryer is generally 100-150 ℃, and the outlet temperature of the drying material of the downstream dryer is slightly lower than the exhaust gas temperature, which is about 80-120 ℃. The lower the exhaust gas emission temperature, the higher the thermal efficiency of the system. When the temperature of exhaust gas is reduced from 150 ℃ to 100 ℃, the thermal efficiency can be increased by 5% ~ 7%.

2. Reduce heat loss

The "heat loss" referred to here mainly refers to the mechanical and chemical incomplete combustion heat loss of fuel, sensible heat carried away by ash and slag, and heat dissipation loss of outer wall surface.

3. Reasonable design of combustion chamber

At present, the main types of combustion chamber are artificial combustion chamber, pulverized coal combustion chamber, mechanical grate combustion chamber and boiling combustion chamber. All kinds of combustion chambers have their advantages and disadvantages. But in terms of its combustion efficiency: the artificial combustion chamber is generally only about 50%, and nearly half of the coal is not completely burned. About 80% of pulverized coal combustion chamber and boiling combustion chamber. Only the combustion efficiency of grate combustion chamber of mechanical furnace can reach more than 90%.

4. Particle size of materials into dryer

The smaller the particle size of the dried material is, the larger the contact area between the material and the air flow is, and the shorter the drying time is. To sum up, reducing the heat carried away by exhaust gas and heat loss caused by incomplete combustion of chemical and mechanical, selecting reasonable combustion chamber and reducing material particle size can improve the thermal efficiency of the dryer in varying degrees.
