The process of lime + sodium alkali desulfurization is to desulphurize flue gas with sodium alkaline absorption solution first, and then regenerate the desulfurizing liquid with lime powder. Because the whole reaction process is carried out alternately with liquid and gas, the problem of scale formation in the system is avoided. Moreover, the absorption rate is high, the ratio of liquid to gas is low, the utilization rate of absorption liquid is high, the investment cost and operation are also high.

(1) Caustic soda (soda ash) is used for desulfurization. The desulfurization liquid is mainly caustic soda (soda ash) aqueous solution. In the recycling process, the water pump, pipeline and equipment are scoured to alleviate corrosion and blockage, which is convenient for equipment operation and maintenance.

(2) Sodium alkaline absorption solution has the advantages of fast reaction speed, low liquid gas ratio and high desulfurization efficiency, which is generally above 95%.

(3) The regeneration of desulfurization solution and the precipitation of desulfurization occur in the tower body, which avoids the blockage of circulation system, improves the reliability of equipment operation and reduces the operation cost.

(4) The structure of desulfurization tower is empty tower spray, which has high operation reliability, low occurrence rate and low resistance in the tower, which generally does not exceed 600 PA.

Technological advantages

The flue gas is discharged from the top of rotary kiln and transported to the bottom of desulfurization tower through flue and gravity settling chamber, and then enters into desulfurization tower. The structure of desulfurization tower is empty tower spray. The design wind speed is less than 3m / s, and the pressure drop in the tower is less than 600Pa. The dust removal, desulfurization and exhaust gas are integrated. The flue gas after desulfurization is transported from the tower top through the air duct to the demisting and dehydration drying chamber for drying, and then transported by the fan to the chimney for discharge. The whole system is in a negative pressure working environment with high safety factor. After the desulfurization tower is manufactured and sandblasted, epoxy resin is used for anticorrosion for 6 times. The nozzles and pipes of main parts in the tower are made of stainless steel.

The spray structure of spray test empty tower is adopted in the desulfurization tower, which has the advantages of high efficiency, energy saving and low cost. After absorbing SO2 and dust, the atomized desulfurization liquid in the tower consumes NaOH to generate Na2SO3. After entering the sedimentation tank for sedimentation, it enters the primary reaction regeneration pool to react with Ca2 (OH) 2 to regenerate sodium ions. After entering the secondary reaction regeneration pool, Na2CO3 is added and pumped into the top of the desulfurization tower for dehydration The sulfur liquid tank is recycled.

The dust collected by gravity settling chamber can be used as auxiliary materials of semi-finished raw materials. Taking the rotary kiln with diameter of 2 m and 10 m as an example, it can recover nearly 500 tons of dust every year, which has a high economic effect.

The final product of desulfurization is gypsum slurry, which is calcium sulfite, calcium carbonate and dust. The cement slurry is discharged from the sedimentation tank by the cement slurry pump, then it is naturally evaporated and dried, and then piled up.

The desulfurizing solution was regenerated by adding lime, which caused secondary pollution.

Practice has proved that the rotary kiln wet flue gas dust removal and desulfurization process has the advantages of high operation reliability, good dust removal and desulfurization, low operation cost and good operability. Through this method, the rotary kiln production process fully meets the national environmental protection standards.
